FLIGHT INTO EGYPT
Ten 5 1/2”x 8 1/2” Personalized Christmas Cards
This year, why not send unique personalized Christmas cards? Unlike the usual "cutesy" photo cards sold in many retail stores, these cards feature a theme in keeping with the reason for the season. The cover of the the card is a giclée print of an oil painting by Mary Wilson Reynolds depicting Joseph and Mary's flight into Egypt with the baby Jesus to avoid the murderous edict of Herod. The pyramids can be seen in the background as they pass by an oasis. The images and text are printed with Epson archival quality ink on matte textured half-fold greeting cards. Matching 8¾" x 5¾" envelopes are included.
The card text reads as follows
Now after they had left, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, "Get up, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you; for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him."
Then Joseph got up, took the child and his mother by night, and went to Egypt, and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet, "out of Egypt I have called my son." --MATTHEW 2:13-14
