| This is part II of our trip up to see my friend De's husband, Ross, and his friends while they were Elk Hunting in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. I am really impressed that the guys don't use guns to hunt, but instead use bows and arrows and do everything on foot. None of this climbing into the back of a pickup truck with rifles! They take their game on equal footing. They also consume what they eat. They spend about two weeks up there, so that's why the campsite is so well-equipped. It gets really cold up there at night! |
